AHFC, through limited purpose subsidiaries, has issued several transactions backed by retail installment sales contracts since 1992. These fixed rate contracts are used to finance the purchase of new and used cars and light trucks. Securities from these transactions are issued through either Honda Auto Receivables Grantor Trusts or Honda Auto Receivables Owner Trusts.
